Wipro Q2FY22 Conference Call Highlights
2 min read• In the second quarter, annual revenue run rate has surpassed the $10 billion mark. $2.4 billion of this was added in the last 12 months.
• Excluding the two recent acquisitions, that is Capco and Ampion, company grew over 4.6% in constant currency terms. This marks the second consecutive quarter of 4.5% plus growth.
• Order book in terms of annual contract value has jumped 28% in H1. And in terms of TCV, the order book is up 19% year-on-year.
• Offered a salary increase covering 80% of the colleagues in September of 2021 marking a second salary hike in this calendar year.
• The cloud ecosystem, which is about 30% of the revenue, grew 27% plus in the first half and the cloud pipeline has crossed $8 billion for the first time.
• Capco: Continue to build good momentum on the joint go to market. Won 10 deals during first 100 days of transaction closure.
• Completed the acquisition of Ampion, an Australian-based provider of cybersecurity DevOps and quality engineering services.
• To add over 25,000 freshers in the next financial year.
• Outlook for the next quarter: revenue growth 2% to 4% which will translate into a year-on-year growth of 27% to 30% in constant currency.
• Operating margin for the quarter was 17.8%.
• ACV (Annual Contract Value) has jumped 28% year-on-year in H1. TCV (Total Contract Value) has jumped 19% year-on-year.
• Evolution of their leadership organization: Upgraded about 25% of the account executives around the world. Two years ago, only 1% of the Top 200 leaders across the organization, were account executives. Today 8% of them are account executives. There is a significant change in the mix of leadership toward client-facing people.
